1st Annual Downtown San Rafael Hops & Vines Stroll on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 2 pm to 7 pm.
FREE Cable Car shuttle on 4th Street, from Lincoln to the West End Village for everyone to enjoy during the event.
The tasting event will feature the numerous new (and established) Downtown Breweries, Bars and Restaurants and also include San Rafael merchants and businesses offering wine and beer tastes inside their stores along the Fourth Street corridor to the West End Village. Bloom will be Participating! Hosted by The Downtown San Rafael Business Improvement District and Steven Restivo Event Services,Inc.
Advance tickets for $25 via the website or day-of tickets for $30 (cash only). Participants will receive a tasting glass and a map with all of the tasting locations. The ticket price includes wine and beer samples at all of the sampling locations. Please note: this is a tasting event and may include snacks at some locations, but we encourage everyone to enjoy the food from one of the local eateries after the event.
I hope your Summer is off to a fantastic start. While it has seemingly flown by, Sports Basement Novato is coming up on our one year birthday. To celebrate, we will be hosting a BBQ July 13th & 14th:
- 7/13 - 10am-2pm (Bloom will be in attendance)
- 7/14 - 11am-3pm.
In true Sports Basement fashion we are pulling out all the stops for our one year anniversary and want you to celebrate with us and Trips for Kids Marin.
This is going to be the LAST weekend people can sign up as a Basementeer for FREE… After this weekend there will be a one-time $25 fee to join as a Basementeer (Don’t worry, with the 10% off it pays for itself very quickly).

Lynn Armstrong, owner of Gold West Vintage will be there to weigh your items. Lynn has appeared on NBC and Oprah networks for her gold parties. Lynn's company is a local business and held an event several years ago for Image for Success that was a HUGE success raising over $3,500.
Bring gold or silver items that you wish to sell (examples below).
You will receive the NY Stock Exchange value (on that given day) for your gold and silver. A check will be given to you for your items that day, minus the percent you may wish to donate. A suggested donation to Bloom is 10% of your proceeds, however there is no requirement. In addition, Gold West Vintage will donate to Bloom 15% of the total amount of gold and silver purchased that night.
While you wait for your items to be appraised, the retail store is yours to explore!
Example of What to Bring:
Yellow, white, and rose 8k-24k. Gold fillings and solid gold coins.
Solid gold jewelry is almost always marked.
Platinum: All platinum
Silver: Sterling Jewelry, candlesticks, frames, flatware, platters, and coffee sets. All should be marked "Sterling" or Taxco" (Mexican silver), or have a sterling hallmark. Silver coins accepted prior to 1964.
